AI companion
The optional AI companion requires an active internet connection. Messages sent to it may be processed by third-party AI providers solely for generating responses. Core wellness analysis continues to function offline when the AI companion is unavailable.
Advertising
MindSignal may display advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect advertising identifiers, device information, diagnostic data and advertising performance information according to Google's policies.
Permissions
Depending on enabled functionality, MindSignal may request Internet access, notification permission, activity recognition permission and other permissions required for wellness-related features.
Data retention
Wellness records remain on your device until you delete them manually, use the data wipe feature, or uninstall the application.
Security
MindSignal relies on Android application sandboxing, local storage protections and Android security mechanisms to help safeguard stored data. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, but reasonable security measures are implemented.
Children's Privacy
MindSignal is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Using MindSignal
These terms describe the general conditions for using the MindSignal application.
1. Use of the application
MindSignal is a personal wellness companion intended to help users understand wellness and behavioral patterns. You are responsible for using the application in accordance with applicable laws and the rules of the platform from which you obtained the application.
2. Wellness information, not medical advice
MindSignal is designed for general wellness and self-reflection. Its insights, indicators, visualizations and AI-generated responses are not a diagnosis, medical treatment, emergency service or substitute for professional medical care.
3. AI companion
The optional AI companion may produce responses based on the information provided to it. AI-generated responses may be incomplete or inaccurate. Do not rely on the AI companion for emergency or medical decisions.
4. Device data and permissions
Some features require Android permissions. Features that depend on permissions may not function fully if those permissions are denied or later revoked.
5. Availability and changes
Features may be changed, updated, suspended or discontinued as the application evolves. We may also release updates that change or improve functionality.
6. Third-party services
Certain functionality may rely on third-party services, including Google Play, Google AdMob and third-party AI providers. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply to their services.
7. Acceptance
By using MindSignal, you acknowledge these terms and the Privacy Policy published on this website.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Purchases made through Google Play
This section explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for MindSignal purchases made through Google Play.
1. Google Play purchases
MindSignal purchases and subscriptions distributed through Google Play are processed through Google Play's billing system. Applicable Google Play purchase terms and refund rules apply.
2. Subscription cancellation
If you purchase a MindSignal subscription through Google Play, you can manage or cancel the subscription through your Google Play account. Cancelling a subscription generally prevents the next renewal; it does not necessarily create an automatic refund for the current billing period.
3. Refund requests
Refund eligibility is determined under the applicable Google Play policies. Play Developers can process eligible refunds through the Google Play Developer Console.
4. Support
